ROME – On Jan. 18 and 19, the annual Biggest Little Psychic Fair will take place at the Elks Club in Rome. The Fair will feature more than 10 different vendors, offering various services.
There will be psychic mediums, stone readings, angel readings, young living oils, an animal communicator and holistic tools available at the event.
Barbara Bennett will be at the fair, practicing Reiki, a Japanese technique for stress reduction that also helps with healing, according to reiki.org. Reiki is a method of spiritual healing that works from a vibrational frequency, or ‘life force energy’ that can bring harmony, balance and well-being to the mind, body and spirit. It can be used for a variety of health-related purposes.
Bennett is a certified Reiki Master and teacher and has been traveling to fairs around the state for more than 10 years. She is affiliated with Hematology-Oncology Associates of CNY as a Certified Reiki Master Therapist. In some cases she gives Reiki sessions to cancer patients. Bennett also is a clairvoyant and a psychic medium.

“I would like to say that my readings help people,” Bennett said. “When people like a reading and refer them to me I consider it a blessing; I love what I do.”
Joanna Lipton, a psychic medium, will also be at the event performing angel readings. Lipton says that during an angel reading, she tries to connect with angels for advice.
Lipton would like to educate anyone coming to the fair about her readings.
“I would educate them about ways to communicate, some ways to get messages, and some examples in my life as to how my gifts started to manifest,” Lipton said. “The belief of it is a lifestyle for me.”
She has also been doing many fairs in the region and also does online and party readings.
